Overview

The Maintenance Coordinator at Harmon Scrap Metal LLC is tasked with supporting the maintenance department by ensuring that technicians have the necessary parts, supplies, tools, and resources for efficient work. This role focuses on inventory management, procurement of maintenance supplies, and administrative support to minimize equipment downtime and ensure smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain maintenance shop inventory at optimal levels.
  • Order, receive, stock, organize, and track maintenance parts, tools, and supplies.
  • Conduct routine cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Research replacement parts, equipment components, tools, and maintenance supplies.
  • Obtain quotes and pricing from vendors and suppliers.
  • Coordinate deliveries, shipments, and vendor service visits.
  • Process maintenance work orders and submit required documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Required skills
