Overview

The Village at Mill Landing is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join their team. This full-time position involves supporting the Plant Supervisor in various maintenance tasks, ensuring the community's interior and exterior are well-maintained while engaging with older adults in a positive and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the Plant Supervisor in plant operations needs
  • Provide interior maintenance of the community according to company standards
  • Perform exterior maintenance including groundskeeping and painting
  • Assist in all phases of maintenance in resident apartments and common areas
  • Participate in after hours/weekend on-call rotation

Required skills

  • Experience in a similar maintenance position
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • HVAC certification (preferred)
  • Experience working with seniors and state/local agencies for inspections (preferred)
