Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a Machinist to manufacture and complete necessary parts and components for various product lines. This role involves working with mechanical equipment, utilizing measuring instruments, and ensuring accurate record keeping while adhering to safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Machine and complete custom part orders
  • Assemble and test various mechanical equipment
  • Utilize measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and calipers
  • Complete paperwork for each job accurately and neatly
  • Operate tow motor

Required skills

  • Proficient at blueprint reading
  • CNC lathe experience
  • CNC milling machines experience
  • CNC router tables experience
  • Manual milling machines experience
  • Manual lathe experience
  • Ability to lift 50lbs or more
  • Experience in a high-paced environment
