Job Description

Overview

Wells Manufacturing is seeking Machinist candidates who can perform various machine operations utilizing CNC lathe to cut, shape, or form metal workpieces according to specifications. Candidates will start with inspection duties ensuring product quality and may eventually transition into roles such as Foreman or Lead Operator.

Key responsibilities

  • Examine products for defects and sort them according to the extent of defect
  • Verify specified dimensions of products or materials
  • Reject defective parts and mark type of defect
  • Initiate nonconformance reports
  • Release products for packaging and shipment
  • Compare products to be shipped to verify correctness and quality documentation
