Overview

Reser's Fine Foods, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for its food processing production team in Topeka, Kansas. The role involves setting up, maintaining, and operating machinery to produce intermediate food products while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate basic machines to combine raw and processed ingredients
  • Set up machines for production runs, including loading materials and adjusting settings
  • Inspect machine operation to ensure quality and conformity to guidelines
  • Make adjustments or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications
  • Clean and sanitize machines according to guidelines
  • Ensure product date, weight, and temperatures are within established guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
  • Display a positive attitude toward people, equipment, and company policy
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required

Required skills

  • Experience operating machinery preferred
  • Food industry experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • English/Spanish bilingual a plus
