Reser's Fine Foods is seeking a Machine Operator to join their production team in Topeka, Kansas. The role involves setting up, maintaining, and operating food processing machines to ensure the quality of intermediate food products. Key responsibilities

  • Operate basic machines to combine raw and processed ingredients into intermediate food products
  • Set up machines for production runs, including loading materials and adjusting settings
  • Observe machine operation to ensure quality and conformity to company guidelines
  • Inspect parts to specifications and make necessary adjustments or tool changes
  • Clean and sanitize machines according to company guidelines
  • Ensure product date, weight, and temperatures are within established guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
  • Display a positive attitude towards people, equipment, and company policy
  • Maintain regular, reliable attendance and punctuality

Required skills

  • Experience operating machinery preferred
  • Food industry experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
