Job Description

Overview

Phoenix Mecano is seeking a probationary Machine Operator to set up and run CNC and manual machines while adhering to established standards to meet customer expectations and quality requirements. This role involves various tasks from machine setup to production documentation, ensuring safety and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up machines to run production orders using defined tools and fixtures
  • Run machines to complete production orders within the required standard times
  • Measure and inspect completed parts to customer requirements and department standards
  • Prepare finished products for the next production operation or shipment
  • Comply with all health and safety requirements
  • Complete all required production paperwork accurately and timely
  • Support improvement projects within the production environment
  • Assist in other cells such as assembly and surface treatment as required
  • Maintain tooling area and clean working areas
