Overview

Lotus Technical is seeking Machine Operators for a 6-month contract-to-permanent position in Cambridge, MN. The role involves operating various machines such as punch presses and CNC equipment to manipulate metal composites while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate punch press, CNC, and other machines to trim, punch, shape, or weld metal composites
  • Run single op, spot weld, drill press, hand tools, and assemble products as directed
  • Position parts against fixtures or stops on the machine bed or die
  • Start press and monitor operations for misalignment or malfunction
  • Inspect parts for conformance to specifications
  • Clean and lubricate machines
  • Follow job procedures and record production information accurately

Required skills

  • Experience with progressive punch press, saw, press brake, basic CNC, robotic welder, and Comac
