Overview

Reser's Fine Foods, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to set up, maintain, and operate food processing machines that produce intermediate food products. The role involves ensuring quality standards and adherence to safety protocols within a refrigerated manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate basic machines to combine raw and processed ingredients into intermediate food products.
  • Set up machines for production runs, including loading materials and adjusting settings.
  • Observe machine operation to ensure quality and conformity to company guidelines.
  • Inspect parts to specifications and make adjustments or tool changes as necessary.
  • Clean and sanitize machines according to company guidelines.
  • Ensure product date, weight, and temperatures are within established guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
  • Display a positive attitude toward people, equipment, and company policy.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Follow company safety guidelines, HACCP requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Attend regularly and punctually.

Required skills

  • Experience operating machinery preferred.
  • Food industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and safety standards.
  • Willingness to learn and improve.
  • Team player required for collaboration.
