Job Description

Overview

OnPoint Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant with LSRT or RT certification for the Castle Pines Family Practice. In this role, you will support a variety of patients in a clinical environment, assisting with examinations, treatments, and administrative tasks, all while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for x-ray procedures and ensure proper documentation
  • Obtain and document medical history, vital signs, and other intake elements
  • Support providers during examinations and procedures
  • Perform limited scope radiologic procedures as permitted by certification
  • Assist with sports medicine and orthopedic care, including injury documentation
  • Perform back-office clinical functions such as EKGs and specimen collection
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam and treatment areas
  • Address messages and patient communication tasks promptly
  • Attend required trainings and maintain certifications

Required skills

  • Current LSRT/Limited Scope X-Ray Certification or RT
  • Current BLS or CPR certification
  • Medical assistant experience in a physician practice or outpatient clinic
  • Strong computer skills and EMR experience
  • Ability to perform clinical duties for family practice and sports medicine
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
