Overview

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant for their Kuna Family Medicine clinic. This role involves supporting a busy physician and providing care to patients of all ages, with a focus on geriatric patients. Candidates should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of performing various medical tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist a busy physician with patient care
  • Perform phlebotomy and administer immunizations
  • Conduct EKGs and prepare injections
  • Set up and assist with minor procedures
  • Complete POC and other tests
  • Manage tasks and orders in the task inbox

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • MA certification from approved agencies
  • 1 year of MA experience or current MA certification
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
  • Strong detail orientation and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with geriatric patients
