Job Description

Overview

StaffHealth is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for their facility in Denton, Texas. The LPN will work under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and alongside caregivers to deliver high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide direct care to residents, assisting with their activities of daily living
  • Complete clean and accurate charting before the end of each shift
  • Measure and monitor vital signs
  • Assist with the implementation of plan of care and restorative programs
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and caregivers
  • Ensure signed timesheets are submitted to StaffHealth

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current state licensure as an LVN/LPN
  • CPR certification (Basic Life Support or equivalent)
  • Ability to complete background checks and pre-employment drug screenings
  • Long-term care experience
  • Skill in time management and clinical assessments
  • Knowledge of drug screening procedures and patient care standards
