Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will work under the supervision of a Nurse Manager, providing high-quality patient care in a facility. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, documenting patient care, and measuring vital signs.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide direct care to residents under nursing staff direction
  • Assist with activities of daily living
  • Support restorative programs as per plan of care
  • Complete clear and accurate charting before shift ends
  • Measure and record vital signs
  • Sign timesheet with Supervisor prior to submission

Required skills

  • LPN Certification
  • At least 6 months experience in a Long-Term Care setting
  • Current Physical and PPD
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Healthcare documentation skills
  • Charting and patient care skills
