StaffHealth is seeking a Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role involves flexible scheduling with options for part-time, full-time, and long-term contracts, and focuses on delivering care that exceeds industry standards while supporting both employees and the community.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer medications and injections
  • Oversee treatments and ensure compliance with prescribed therapies
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatments and medications
  • Direct and supervise activities of licensed and certified nursing personnel
  • Review residents admitted and ensure appropriate implementation of physician's plan of care
  • Build rapport with patients
  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment
  • Exhibit a compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Work well in teams

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • LVN/LPN State Licensure
  • Current Physical, MMR vaccine, and Current PPD
  • Valid CPR certification (Basic Life Support or equivalent)
  • Background checks, pre-employment, and drug screenings required
  • 1 year experience
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
