Overview

StaffHealth is seeking a Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) to join their team in Nags Head, North Carolina. The role involves providing high-quality patient care and working alongside caregivers to exceed industry standards. Flexible scheduling options are available for both part-time and full-time positions.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer medications and injections
  • Oversee treatments and ensure compliance with prescribed therapies
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatments and medications
  • Direct and supervise activities of licensed and certified nursing personnel
  • Review residents admitted and assure appropriate implementation of physicians' plan of care
  • Build rapport with patients
  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • LVN/LPN State Licensure
  • Current Physical, MMR vaccine, Current PPD, etc.
  • Valid CPR certification (Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent)
  • Background checks, pre-employment and drug screenings required
  • 1 year experience
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Team collaboration skills
  • Compassionate care
