Overview

StaffHealth is seeking Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurses (LVN/LPN) in Hackettstown, New Jersey, to provide high-quality patient care. The role includes flexible scheduling with part-time, full-time, and long-term contracts available, and emphasizes a compassionate, team-oriented approach to healthcare.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer medications and injections
  • Oversee treatments and ensure compliance with prescribed therapies
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatments and medications
  • Direct and supervise activities of licensed and certified nursing personnel
  • Review residents admitted and assure appropriate implementation of physicians' plans of care
  • Build rapport with patients
  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • LVN/LPN State Licensure
  • Current Physical, MMR vaccine, Current PPD
  • Valid CPR certification (Basic Life Support - BLS)
  • Background checks, pre-employment and drug screenings required
  • 1 year of experience
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Compassionate care and teamwork skills
