StaffHealth is seeking Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurses (LVN/LPN) in Mattoon, Illinois, to provide high-quality patient care. The role includes flexible scheduling and various contract options, as well as opportunities for career progression within a supportive healthcare team.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer medications & injections
  • Oversee treatments & ensure compliance with prescribed therapies
  • Maintain accurate & detailed records of treatments & medications
  • Direct & supervise activities of licensed & certified nursing personnel
  • Review residents admitted & ensure implementation of physicians' plan of care
  • Build rapport with patients
  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment
  • Demonstrate a compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Work effectively in teams

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • LVN/LPN State Licensure
  • Current Physical, MMR vaccine, Current PPD
  • Valid CPR certification (Basic Life Support or equivalent)
  • Background checks, pre-employment & drug screenings required
  • 1 year experience
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
