Overview

StaffHealth is seeking Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurses (LVN/LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in Atlantic Beach, Florida. This role involves working alongside caregivers and includes flexible scheduling options with part-time, full-time, and long-term contracts available.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer medications and injections
  • Oversee treatments and ensure compliance with prescribed therapies
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatments and medications
  • Direct and supervise activities of licensed and certified nursing personnel
  • Review residents admitted and assure appropriate implementation of physicians' plan of care
  • Build rapport with patients
  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • State Licensure as LVN/LPN
  • Current Physical
  • MMR vaccine
  • Current PPD
  • Valid CPR certification (BLS or equivalent)
  • 1 year experience
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
