Overview

Sygnetics, Inc is seeking a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to support the DiLorenzo Pentagon Health Clinic in Washington DC. The role requires expertise in patient assessment and management in various medical conditions, while working with military personnel and their families.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform nursing assignments of moderate difficulty
  • Assess adult and geriatric patients
  • Prepare patients for treatments and procedures
  • Assist with clinic specific procedures
  • Supervise paraprofessionals in patient care
  • Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment

Required skills

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Knowledge of medical disorders and treatments
  • Experience in acute care hospital or inpatient rehab facility
  • Computer operations and data entry
