Overview

StaffHealth is seeking Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurses (LVN/LPN) to join their team in Norwalk, Connecticut. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a flexible scheduling environment. The ideal candidates will collaborate with caregivers to ensure compliance with treatment plans and maintain accurate records.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer medications and injections
  • Oversee treatments and ensure compliance with prescribed therapies
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatments and medications
  • Direct and supervise activities of licensed and certified nursing personnel
  • Review residents' admissions and ensure implementation of physicians' plan of care
  • Build rapport with patients
  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • LVN/LPN State Licensure
  • Current Physical, MMR vaccine, Current PPD, etc.
  • Valid CPR certification (BLS or equivalent)
  • 1 year experience
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Compassionate care and teamwork ability
