Overview

STG International (STGi) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide both clinical and administrative nursing care at their Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Murrieta, California. The role involves collaborating with healthcare teams, ensuring patient care, and maintaining compliance with various regulations and protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide a wide variety of clinical and administrative nursing care under supervision.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of pharmacology and medication administration techniques.
  • Check-in/check-out patients and assist in scheduling appointments.
  • Observe patients and report adverse reactions to medications and treatments.
  • Perform CPR and assist during respiratory and cardiac arrest procedures.
  • Conduct nursing procedures including dressing changes, suturing, and injections.
  • Prepare patients for lab procedures and examinations.
  • Maintain universal precautions and infection control practices.
  • Document patient information in medical records and VISTA.
  • Assist in ensuring clinic compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Provide health education materials to patients and families.
  • Participate in staff meetings and ongoing performance improvement programs.
