Overview

STG International (STGi) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide clinical and administrative services at their Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Corona, California. The role involves working under the direction of the clinic manager and the PACT provider to deliver a variety of nursing care and support services to patients.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer medications and demonstrate knowledge of pharmacology
  • Check-in/check-out patients and assist in scheduling appointments
  • Observe patients and report adverse reactions or changes in condition
  • Perform CPR and assist during respiratory and cardiac emergencies
  • Conduct nursing procedures such as wound care and injections
  • Prepare patients for lab procedures and assist in examinations
  • Document patient information in medical records and the VISTA system
  • Provide health education materials to patients and their families
  • Maintain infection control practices and universal precautions
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to performance improvement
