Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Generations LLC is responsible for planning, coordinating, and providing comprehensive nursing care for residents. This role includes supervising clinical staff and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards while embodying the company’s values in daily interactions.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate total nursing care for residents
  • Review physician orders and medication administration records
  • Conduct nursing assessments and evaluations
  • Assist physicians with special tests and procedures
  • Promote effective communication among staff and residents
  • Teach medication administration to staff
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding staff and resident matters
  • Implement and revise resident service plans as needed
  • Assist in establishing a home-like atmosphere for residents
  • Participate in in-house surveys as requested

Required skills

  • Valid LPN license in Oregon
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Experience in health services delivery
  • Supervisory experience and leadership skills
