This creed has stood the test of time and created the strong foundation that support our distinguished reputation in the industry.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Guards entrance gate to the yard, buildings and grounds.Controls traffic to and from the buildings and grounds in the yard.Allows entrance or exit of truckers and other authorized visitors.Checks credentials before admitting anyone. Directs truckers and authorized visitors to the buildings or various parts of grounds as appropriate.Inspects paperwork and content of outgoing traffic to prevent unauthorized removal of company property or products.Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other employees to do the same.Other duties as requested directed or assigned. Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS:Previous lumber or building supplies experience strongly desired.High school diploma or GED preferred.Excellent communication skills are required.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The position could involve standing, walking, reaching, lifting, bending, crouching, climbing, pushing, pulling and sitting for long periods of time throughout the day.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Exposed to cold weather in the winter and hot weather in the summer.Compensation details: 16-20 Hourly WagePIfea9792ecf03-4688
