Overview

Drexel Building Supply is seeking a Lumber and Structural Estimator to join their team in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. This on-site role will involve creating and finalizing quotes using Spruce software, interpreting project plans, estimating material quantities, and collaborating with the sales and engineering teams. Ideal candidates should be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong computer skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in quoting and finalizing small and large quotes using Spruce software
  • Understand floor plans and interpret project plans for accurate quotes
  • Estimate material quantities for project bids
  • Prepare material lists for quotes and route to sales team for pricing
  • Collaborate in pre-bid meetings with cross-functional teams
  • Create Floor Layouts & Tall Wall drawings using software
  • Troubleshoot structural related issues
