Sanford Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for their Canton Clinic in South Dakota. This role offers the opportunity to provide holistic care to patients, working under the supervision of healthcare professionals in a supportive and family-oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients
  • Document thorough medical histories from patients
  • Contribute to patient assessments and administer medications or treatments as ordered
  • Provide technical support to healthcare professionals
  • Counsel patients and families on prevention and treatment plans under direction of a registered nurse

Required skills

  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program
  • Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
  • IV therapy/management skills (if applicable)
  • Ability to maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team collaboration skills
