Overview

Match Education is seeking a Lower Elementary Special Education Teacher for grades K-2 at Match Community Day in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is essential in providing inclusive support and instruction for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and ensuring the academic success of students with disabilities. The position emphasizes a diverse and culturally responsive educational environment aimed at student achievement in a high-performing charter school setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide inclusion support and instruction in regular education classes containing IEP students.
  • Teach separate classes only when necessary.
  • Manage the school's Special Education programming, including paperwork and communication.
  • Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations for students.
