Overview

The H&K Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Lowbed Truck Driver with a Class A CDL to transport oversize and heavy equipment. This role requires a skilled individual to perform driving duties while adhering to safety and compliance regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Performs all work according to safety policies
  • Conducts pre and post trips on the lowbed tractor daily
  • Drives lowbed truck to specified destinations
  • Loads heavy equipment onto trailer and unloads at job sites
  • Maintains truck log as per state and federal regulations
  • Maintains communication with dispatchers for instructions
  • Inspects truck equipment and supplies for safety
  • Positions and secures equipment during transit

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Class A CDL
  • Clean driving record
  • 1 year experience driving a lowbed truck
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet physical requirements
  • PPE utilization skills
