Overview

The Low Observables Design, Analysis, & Test Engineer at Raytheon will work on advanced stealth technology and low observable weapon systems, contributing to the design, analysis, and testing of Radar Cross Section (RCS). This role requires collaboration within integrated product teams to enhance signature control techniques and present findings to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform Radar Cross Section design, analysis, and testing
  • Incorporate advanced signature control techniques into deliverable products
  • Develop proposals and Basis of Estimate (BOE)
  • Present testing, analysis, and design results to customers

Required skills

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • 8 years of relevant experience or 5 years with an advanced degree
  • Experience with RCS measurement and testing
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience with high temperature RCS reduction techniques
  • Knowledge of Infrared signature analysis
  • Experience with computational electromagnetic codes like SENTRi and XPATCH
