Overview

Raytheon is seeking a Low Observables Design, Analysis, & Test Engineer to work on cutting-edge projects in Tucson, Arizona. This role focuses on Radar Cross Section design, analysis, and testing, requiring a strong background in advanced signature control techniques to enhance the performance of defense systems.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform Radar Cross Section (RCS) design, analysis, and testing
  • Incorporate advanced signature control techniques into deliverable products
  • Assess system-level performance and present results to stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively in integrated product teams

Required skills

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience or 3 years with an Advanced Degree
  • Experience in RCS measurement, testing, prediction, and design
  • Knowledge of high temperature RCS reduction techniques
  • Experience in Infrared signature analysis and reduction techniques
  • Experience in Laser Cross Section reduction techniques
  • Familiarity with computational electromagnetic (CEM) codes like SENTRi & XPATCH
  • Current Secret Security Clearance
