Job Description

Overview

The LOD Specialist II at Midland States Bank will focus on the instructional design, implementation, and facilitation of LOD programming. This role requires project management skills and a strong understanding of strategic goals to identify and deliver relevant learning and organizational development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver programming for upskilling/reskilling employees
  • Serve as a project manager from conceptualization to maintenance
  • Assess and recommend opportunities for distance learning and computer/web-based training
  • Maintain and evaluate recent technology/tools supporting L&D goals
  • Deliver and facilitate training programs for target audiences
  • Design plans and procedures for training administration
  • Collaborate with subject matter specialists on content development
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Training and Development, Education, Business, or related field
  • 3-5 years of training experience in multiple modalities
  • Experience with measurement tools for development programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer skills: MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to influence and lead without formal authority
  • Skills in emotional intelligence and adaptability
