Overview

Aya Locums is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) specialized in General Surgery to work full-time in San Francisco, California. Providers will predominantly work at one facility but may need to float to a second location and will be required to cover weekend shifts occasionally.

Key responsibilities

  • Work predominantly at one facility with potential to float to another
  • Assist in the operating room and perform post-operative care
  • Conduct patient consults and follow-up care
  • Cover 2-4 weekend shifts per month with variable weekdays off
  • Adhere to call requirements and operate within an academic training hospital setting

Required skills

  • Board Certification: ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, or ACNPC
  • California NP license
  • California DEA with Schedule 2
  • AHA BLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year experience in inpatient general surgery
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR
