Overview

Aya Locums is seeking a Locums General Dentist for a temporary position in New York starting January 2026. The role involves providing general dentistry services in an outpatient clinic, focusing on adult patients, with some pediatric cases.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide general dentistry services including fillings, crowns, bridges, and dentures
  • Perform root canals and extractions, both simple and surgical
  • Deliver Invisalign treatments and perform hygiene checks
  • Educate patients and maintain strong bedside manner
  • Collaborate with support staff in an outpatient setting

Required skills

  • Experience in general dentistry, endodontics, and extractions
  • Knowledge of EMR systems, specifically Dentrix
  • Familiarity with implant placement and restoration
  • Ability to provide patient education
  • WaveOne rotary system experience preferred
