Overview

GO Staffing is looking for a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locums coverage for CT Surgery in Greenville, South Carolina. The role includes a schedule of Monday to Friday with various responsibilities primarily focused in a hospital and inpatient care environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide locums coverage for CT Surgery
  • Manage an average daily caseload of 10 patients
  • Participate in 10% outpatient clinic and 90% hospital/inpatient acute care
  • Assist in vein harvesting and first assist on call open-heart cases
  • Perform suturing and pre/post-operative surgical care
  • Collaborate with 4 physicians and 7 advanced practitioners
  • Take calls with 5% on weekdays and 75% on weekends

Required skills

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Minimum 2 years of CT experience
  • Active South Carolina license
  • ACLS certification
  • DEA certification
  • Experience with medical documentation
  • Proficiency in EPIC EMR
  • Team collaboration skills
