Job Description

Overview

A well-respected hospital in Southern Illinois is seeking a CRNA locum for coverage from November through February/March 2026. The position involves independent practice with board-certified anesthesiologist oversight, primarily Monday to Friday with no call required.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia services for various surgical cases including General Surgery, GYN, ENT, GI, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Pain Management, Podiatry, Urology, and Ophthalmology
  • Handle 4-8 traditional OR cases and 10-13 GI or cataract cases per day
  • Work in a facility with 2 ORs, 1 Cysto Suite, and 1 GI room
  • Maintain IL state licensure
  • Function independently under chart oversight from a board-certified anesthesiologist

Required skills
