Overview

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The role involves providing care in an outpatient setting, with responsibilities including a variety of women's health services and pediatric care. The position offers flexible scheduling and support from the Weatherby team.

Key responsibilities

  • Work Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, with 9-hour shifts
  • Manage an outpatient setting with up to 20 patients per shift
  • Provide well woman care, including colposcopy and endometrial biopsy
  • Perform IUD insertion and removal
  • Administer prenatal care and support vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and VBAC deliveries
  • Care for patients from newborns to adolescents
  • Conduct ultrasounds and newborn resuscitation
  • Utilize assignment details and time entry in an online portal
