Aya Locums is seeking a locum Neonatology Nurse Practitioner for a position in Oregon City, OR. The role offers competitive pay between $100 and $115 per hour and requires scheduled and on-call shift coverage. The assignment is for 13 weeks at an acute care hospital, focusing on patient assessments, treatment plans, and collaborative care.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat various medical conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions
  • Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices
  • Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and NP specialty
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
