Overview

Palm Health Resources is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic ICU Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum contract work in Saint Louis, Missouri. The role involves caring for high acuity cardiac surgery patients, providing pre- and post-operative care, and managing various advanced cardiac devices.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide pre- and post-operative care for cardiac surgery patients
  • Manage patients on ECMO, Impella, IABP, and pacemakers
  • Perform arterial line and central line placements
  • Conduct hemodynamic interpretation and occasional chest tube placements
