TransForce Inc. is seeking experienced Local CDL A Flatbed Drivers to support local operations in St. Louis, MO. The role involves safely operating a flatbed truck for local routes, with a focus on heavy load transport and maintaining compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Safely operate CDL A flatbed on local routes
  • Transport heavy steel equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
  • Perform required handling tasks such as securing loads
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
  • Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and climbing

Required skills

  • CDL A license
  • 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
  • Flatbed driving experience
  • Heavy haul or oversized loads experience preferred
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • Understanding of DOT and FMCSA requirements
  • Communication skills
