Job Description

Overview

The Loan Servicing Specialist III at Orrstown Bank is responsible for leading initiatives as a subject matter expert in loan servicing, guiding projects, coaching team members, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves managing loan processing tasks, customer interactions, and maintaining effective communication across departments while implementing process improvements.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise on records maintenance and data entry in the Core Banking System
  • Conduct loan correction maintenance and prepare necessary documents
  • Execute accurate processing of loan transactions, payoffs, payments, and disbursements
  • Process escrow analyses and disbursements for insurance and tax payments
  • Review exception reports and prepare daily and monthly servicing reports
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations and Bank policies
  • Organize and present training materials for policy updates
  • Communicate with lenders to address questions and resolve loan level suspensions
  • Coordinate tasks with other departments and provide necessary information
  • Attend coaching sessions for performance improvement

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • At least four years of experience in loan processing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
