Overview

The Loan Servicing Operations Specialist at North Easton Savings Bank plays a crucial role in ensuring loan data quality and compliance. This hybrid position involves performing documentation reviews and data integrity checks for various types of loans, contributing to the overall efficiency of the loan servicing process.

Key responsibilities

  • Review loan servicing reports to ensure all system maintenance is completed
  • Pay and track real estate taxes and insurance for escrow accounts
  • Establish and maintain escrowed and non-escrowed loans
  • Complete HELOC end of draw process and review adjustable-rate loan notices
  • Assist in quarterly internal compliance review preparations
  • Research and resolve discrepancies identified during loan reviews
  • Prepare and image commercial loan files as part of the review process
  • Process charge offs and delinquent loan payments under guidance
  • Participate in departmental cross-training initiatives
  • Maintain knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and compliance regulations

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of loan servicing or operations experience
  • Experience with Insight or similar core systems
  • Strong understanding of residential mortgage, home equity, and consumer loan products
  • Proficient in multi-tasking within a team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and resolve servicing issues
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
