In this role, you will evaluate and process loan applications. Your responsibilities will include interviewing applicants to gather financial information, evaluating creditworthiness, and completing loan contracts. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and customer service skills and a deep understanding of current lending practices and regulations. We have an incredible team of Processors and Loan Officer Assistants to help you along the way and will get your loans closed on time. We are a Correspondent Lender and will give the Loan Officer freedom to use one of our 12 Investor Partners. Responsibilities Interview applicants to gather financial informationEvaluate creditworthinessProcess loan applicationsSet up debt payment plansReport on financing decisionsComplete loan contractsAssist clients in understanding the terms and conditions of their contractsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of current financial services and types of loansKeep detailed records for all accounts Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related fieldPrevious experience as a Loan Officer is preferredFamiliarity with Microsoft Excel, databases, and loan processing and banking softwareKnowledge of lending products and practicesStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to perform in a goal-oriented environment
