Overview

Carlile Realty Group is seeking a motivated Loan Originator (Mortgage Loan Officer) to join their Sacramento team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a supportive environment, working closely with real estate agents to provide clients with a seamless home buying and selling experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Originate and process residential mortgage loans for clients in the Sacramento area
  • Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, clients, and referral partners
  • Guide borrowers through the loan process from pre-approval to closing
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company lending regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication throughout transactions
  • Leverage in-house real estate opportunities to grow the pipeline

Required skills

  • Active California DRE License (Salesperson or Broker)
  • NMLS License
  • 1-2 years of mortgage loan origination experience
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage products and underwriting guidelines
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record of closing loans
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using loan origination systems and CRM tools
  • Team player in a collaborative environment
