Overview

The Loan Collections Representative at First Commerce Bank is a part-time position responsible for performing collection and administrative duties to support the loan workout function. This role includes communicating with delinquent borrowers, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with collection policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform collection and administrative duties to support the loan workout function
  • Communicate with delinquent borrowers to obtain late payments
  • Document all collection actions taken
  • Prepare mailings such as past due notices and various collections letters
  • Assist Special Assets Analyst with file organization and reporting
  • Coordinate work tasks with other personnel within the department
  • Respond to inquiries relating to specific area or requests from Bank personnel and customers
  • Maintain appropriate records and provide assigned reports

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient reading, writing, and grammar skills
  • Proficient mathematics skills
  • Strong interpersonal relations and communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Knowledge of collection policies and procedures
  • PC skills including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn job-related software
  • Visual and auditory skills
  • Minimum of one year of related experience
