Overview

The Loan Analyst at Genesis Capital plays a pivotal role in aiding the origination team to convert loan applications into funded loans. This position involves managing a high-volume loan pipeline, coordinating with third-party vendors and borrowers, and ensuring a seamless customer experience throughout the loan process.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage high-volume loan pipeline and ensure timely loan closings
  • Place and track third-party vendor orders
  • Conduct quality control of transactional documents
  • Coordinate lien resolution with title and third parties
  • Prepare and submit complete loan files for underwriting
  • Update internal loan processing systems
  • Request and review funding conditions prior to document release
  • Coordinate signings with Notary Public as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate timelines effectively
  • Maintain an extensive digital filing system

Required skills

  • High school diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in real estate industry
  • Experience in private money lending, underwriting or construction finance
  • Understanding of mortgage underwriting and funding processes
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized with multitasking abilities
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under little supervision
  • Team player with a positive attitude
