Job Description

Overview

The Loan Administrator I at Bank of Pontiac is responsible for providing daily administrative and customer support to Loan Officers and Branch Leadership. This role includes coordinating loan closings, maintaining accurate loan and customer files, processing payments, and enhancing lending activities. Ensuring compliance with bank policies and delivering excellent customer service are key aspects of this position.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support for Loan Officers and lending staff
  • Prepare and process loan documentation using Hathorn River LOS and other systems
  • Load and maintain loan accounts in the SilverLake core system
  • Maintain organized and confidential customer credit files
  • Review loan files for completeness and follow up on missing items
  • Assist customers with payment processing and loan inquiries
  • Build trust and long-term relationships with customers
  • Adhere to all bank policies and applicable regulations
  • Demonstrate judgment based on bank policy and experience

Required skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Working knowledge of SilverLake, Jack Henry Platforms, Synergy, Encompass, and Hawthorn River LOS
  • Experience with TruStage Compliance Solutions preferred
  • Ability to adapt to evolving banking technologies
  • Minimum of two years of related banking experience
  • Previous customer service experience
