Overview

First Western Bank & Trust is seeking a Loan Administrator I for their Lismore, Minnesota location. This role provides essential administrative support to the lending team, including customer service, document preparation, and loan servicing. Candidates with varying levels of experience in loan administration are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the lending team
  • Maintain loan files and process loan-related transactions
  • Prepare and process materials required for loan closing
  • Order appraisals, environmental reports, and credit reports
  • Prepare commercial and agricultural loan documents
  • Issue checks for loan payouts and process lien waivers
  • Support lenders in managing business customer relationships
  • Ensure compliance with banking laws and regulations
  • Maintain loan file documentation and manage tickler reports

Required skills

  • Associate's degree in business, finance, or accounting or equivalent experience
  • Experience in banking, lending products, and documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and bank loan software programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
