The Loader Operator at E-Z Bel Construction in San Antonio, Texas, assists in operating a front-end loader to support various construction activities. Key responsibilities

  • Assist in operating a front-end loader to move materials like asphalt and gravel.
  • Load haul trucks, transport spoils, and perform backfill under guidance.
  • Perform basic grading and rough subgrade preparation.
  • Use loader attachments as needed for specific tasks.
  • Complete pre- and post-operation equipment inspections and report issues.
  • Follow PPE requirements and site-specific safety protocols.
  • Identify and mitigate loader-specific hazards.
  • Support traffic control and barricade setups around loading zones.
  • Maintain organization of material yards and job sites.
  • Assist truck drivers with positioning for loading.

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience or willingness to train under supervision
