Overview

The Live Poultry Receiving Supervisor at Koch Foods is responsible for leading, coaching, and training a team to optimize performance in the production area while ensuring food safety and compliance with company policies. This role emphasizes employee engagement and safety in a dynamic poultry processing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and train a team to promote professional development
  • Promote safety in the work area
  • Ensure proper scheduling for production operations
  • Motivate and train team members to optimize performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and food safety programs
  • Optimize employee engagement through positive leadership
  • Perform other relevant supervisory duties

Required skills

  • 2+ years of leadership and/or supervisory experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Business Management, or related field preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in technology and computer skills
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • General knowledge of plant operations, food safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, GMPs, and HACCP
  • Sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character
