Overview

MUELLER CHRISTENSEN LLP is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to assist clients in navigating probate and trust litigation. The ideal candidate will combine legal expertise with a team-oriented culture to support attorneys and staff in various legal processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Draft and file probate judicial council forms, petitions, inventories, will contests, and accountings
  • Help gather and manage information about the decedent's assets and debts
  • Serve as a communication bridge between beneficiaries, creditors, and court personnel
  • Assist in distributing assets to beneficiaries
  • Conduct legal research on the Probate Code and relevant case law
  • Aid in the preparation of motions, supporting papers, and pleadings for litigation cases
  • Keep case files organized, indexed, and ready for battle
  • Assist in trial preparation by organizing exhibits and maintaining strategic plans

Required skills

  • Paralegal Certificate
  • Competent with legal research tools
  • Proficient in case management software
  • Skilled in Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in preparing and filing judicial council forms
  • Proficient in billing and law firm requirements
  • Background in Family Law, Civil Litigation, or Estate Administration
